Privacy

Scope
This page covers the aarloven.com website and how we handle messages you send us. The product privacy notice for sealed samples will be agreed with each design partner before any customer samples are accepted.
Who we are
Aarloven, Oslo. Contact: yufei@getaarloven.com (see also /imprint).
What this site collects
If you use the design-partner form, we receive what you type (for example a short product note and your work email). We use that only to reply and to decide whether a design-partner conversation makes sense. We do not sell it, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site for that purpose.
Server and CDN logs (for example IP address, time, path) may be kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to profile you for marketing.
Where data is processed
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, a global network.
Email is handled by Google Workspace; Google may store and process it in the EU, the US or other regions under its standard data protection terms.
We do not claim that using an EU region by itself means there is “no international transfer.”
Sealed samples (the product, apart from this marketing site)
By default we plan to keep fingerprints (hashes) of samples instead of the samples themselves. An expert would see sample plaintext only with the buyer's written consent, recorded in the receipt. Exact retention and deletion rules are still open and will be written into partner terms before any real customer data is accepted. Until then, do not send us firmware, traffic captures, or personal data “to try the service” by email.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK, you can ask what personal data we hold about you from site contact, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to yufei@getaarloven.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Norway that is Datatilsynet.
